Hello from North Dakota!
« on: March 26, 2016, 01:41:56 AM »

Hi everybody!
up until recently I have been a small time prepper, as they say , but I'm looking to get into it a whole lot more! Just have a nagging feeling that hard times are comin. but I'm sure most of us on here feel that way lol! Anyway My background. 12 years in the national guard (retired) as a water purification specialist. and combat engineer.
concrete construction. heavy equipment. auto  mechanic, and a few other odd skills I probably forgot to mention.
I have a lot of research to do so I will probably be spending a vast amount of my time on here reading and absorbing information. But if I can be of help to anyone I will be glad to!
Thanks for having me! John

Welcome aboard, John.

Some days I feel like hards times are coming. Some days I can't wait for them to get here so we can get it over with, although those are pretty rare. Most of the time I'm just doing the daily things - going to work, looking for deals on things, running scenarios through my head, working on the list of things around here I need to get done.

Skills are one of those things that we lose track of. I always like the "Forgot I could do that" moments.

I'm near Fargo on the MN side, btw.
