Not Exactly a Suggestion

More like a question. How do you get back to the forum index from private messages??? I can find links to everywhere else, but not the main forum page.

If I'm understanding your question, which may not be the case given the functioning level of my brain right now... pain and meds tend to degrade mental functions, look for the HOME button and click on it. The HOME button will bring you back to the forum index.

I cannot see a Home button. All I see are  Main Web Page  |  Blogs  |  Chat  |  Downloads  |  Links  |  Message Forums & Blogs l  RSS Info  | and, trust me, none of those will get me back here. I've tried them all.

See the attached picture, the red arrow points to the Home button as it should be when reading private messages, actually right above the | Main Web Page | link. I took that screen shot while checking messages. You should be able to see it when reading private messages too, but if you're not then there could be a bug somewhere

If people want I can add a "Back to forums" link to the text links if that makes it easier.

On a windows PC you hit the <Prt Scr> button, then <Ctrl>+<c> to copy, then you open Paint or some other graphics problem and hit <Ctrl>+<v> to paste the screenshot. A bit of cropping to get only the part you need and you're all set to save the picture.

I'm not sure how you do it on a Mac, the only thing I know about Macs is that I use to carry around a 5 pound hammer in the trunk of my car for Mac repairs ;) I have never been a Mac person, nothing wrong with them really.

I hate Windows too. I prefer linux, but I need to have windows for a few things. Until I can build a new computer and load linux on it I am stuck with Windows :(

See what happens when I use the computer late at night (like always)?!!?? I can't find a darned thing. I swear, I didn't even SEE those buttons last night. Good grief!

(I found the 'Home' button, in case you can't tell. :-[) Thanks for all your help, Canuck! The screen shot was a BIG help!
